Our commitment to our patients shows — with patient satisfaction scores for rehabilitation above 90% for all three Rush hospitals.
  • Helping you stay mobile: At Rush, we understand how important it is for you to be able to get around. Our comprehensive wheelchair clinic is designed to efficiently meet your mobility needs — from standard and manual wheelchairs, to scooters, to custom power chairs. During your visit, you will meet with a team that includes a physiatrist and an assistive technology professional. We will assess your needs, provide the medical documentation to support getting you the right equipment, and make sure you receive your equipment in a timely manner.
  • Comprehensive prosthetics services: At our Prosthetic Clinic, Rush physiatrists partner with a certified prosthetist/orthotist to address the full spectrum of prosthetic needs. We’ll see you before amputation for a consultation to explain the prosthetic process, after amputation to set you up for a prosthetic, and after you’ve received your prosthetic for an evaluation and adjustments. Our team will provide the medical documentation to support the appropriate prosthetic and help to ensure that you receive your prosthetic as quickly as possible.
